IT Field Support Specialist Nouria Energy is looking for an IT Field Support Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be providing in person direct technical support to our store & carwash systems in Maine.
This includes taking ownership of IT issues, ensuring the appropriate escalations, and assisting in determining the root causes of IT issues and ensuring they are understood and addressed.
JOB DESCRIPTION Install, manage, and support various windows operating systems, business applications, network connectivity, etc.
Troubleshoot wireless and wired networking connections for a variety of devices.
Provide support for retail location hardware, software, and networking issues.
Escalate issues to vendor support as needed and follow through to resolution.
Install and repair hardware including PCs, peripherals, POS systems, network devices, cabling, access points, etc.
Work independently, handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
May require work during non-business hours including weekends and holidays and on-call responsibility assigned by the manager.
Direct end-users through diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve errors.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders in supporting departmental & business initiatives.
Perform other support and related duties as requested.
95% local travel to retail facilities in Northern NH and Southern Maine.
May include occasional travel in MA, CT, and RI for contingency coverage.
Works within the team or under guidance from the project manager with implementation of technical designs to meet service delivery requirements within own area of responsibility.
Customer Relationship.
Establishes working relationships with internal and external customers to deliver and enhance service.
QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent certification.
Strong knowledge of installing, testing, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Proficient in Windows operating systems, office software & network technologies including experience in troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of data/telecom cabling, jacks & patch panel.
Ability to safely climb ladders (cabling, ceiling-mounted devices, etc.
) and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to understand run-books or other knowledge-based information regarding systems and technologies supporting the business.
Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Working experience in the retail industry is strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record required Job Type:
