Provide direct supervision to the Commercial Banking Assistants and exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning performance improvement plans and reviews, promotions, salary recommendations and terminationsThere is an emphasis on training, coaching, developing and inspiring growth of staff using cross-training and developmental opportunitiesCreate and maintain processes and procedures for the administrative team, ensuring that all processes and procedures are in line with regulatory requirements and are consistently followed by the teamAssist Commercial Bankers with preparing in-house documents, process commercial line advance disbursement checks, coordinate loan closings, establish and maintain credit and collateral files, and other duties required to complete loan closingsJob Requirements for the Lead Commercial Banking Assistant:
Five or more prior years of related experience in an administrative commercial loan environment with previous management experience preferredStrong knowledge of commercial lending process, documentation, laws, regulations, and complianceProficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, Word, and ExcelExcellent customer and employee relationship skillsSelf-motivated and detail orientedStrong organizational, time and work management skillsStrong staff development and communication skillsAbility to handle time-sensitive and confidential informationSummary of Job Functions for the Lead Commercial Banking Assistant:
