Essential duties/
Responsibilities:
The Production Temporary Associate will assist Operations Technicians with the preparation and execution of startup, changeovers, operations, and line shutdown.
Also can support with material handling, warehousing activites.
This position will have primary responsibility for executing the coordination of production materials, safety compliance, maintaining 5S Visual Workplace, inventory (packaging materials and finished goods), and overall production support.
Works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions.
Assists with finished goods preparation and inspectionDelivers production items to designate work areas for processingDelivers processed units to storage or for the next stage of processingAssists with startup, changeovers, and operations of automated and manual equipment throughout the production facilityPerforms daily housekeeping activities and conducts/participates in area housekeeping assessments as required to meet all GMPs and FDA requirementsPerforms safety check of pallet stacking at end of shift and reports and resolves any issuesPacks products in containersRemoves and disposes of Production line waste according to Standard Operating ProceduresUtilizes SAP confirmation for material movements and reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedUnderstands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EOHS requirementsUnderstands and is accountable for following:
all Quality, GMP, and cleaning standards and guidelinesAdditional ExperienceGMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience a plusPrevious manufacturing work team experience preferredDemonstrated competency in problem-solving/decision making, effective communication, results-oriented, and job fit27 Community Dr, Sanford, ME 04073Salary$19.
