Service Technician Support Rep in Sanford Can you learn quickly how to use mechanical and electrical equipment? Do you have experience with technical equipment maintenance ? Do you communicate clearly and have great customer service skills? We have a temp to hire opportunity in the Service Technican Support department. You will need to be mechanically inclined as you will receive extensive training on the production floor learning the mechanical and electrical components of the equipment being manufactured. You will need the ability to talk on the phone and work at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include: - providing technical assistance and answering complex questions - performing preventative maintenance and testing on products - conduct technical training and monitor the functionality of equipment - answering incoming phone calls in a professional - document calls into a database - resolve cases and respond to questions in a timely manner - work with customers to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with products - field repairs - assisting with writing troubleshooting guides - assisting with new product development This position requires an Associates or Technical degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in after sale support or technical service. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, high energy level, ambition, and demonstrated excellent problem solving skills.
