Electrician

Responsible for maintaining production equipment in production and building equipment to include mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, troubleshooting and repair of plant air, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic and electronic systems to the component level.



RESPONSIBILITIES


?Report all incidents as per Sanford Plant Safety Standard #1.


?Use Personal Protection equipment as per Sanford Plant Safety Standard #2.


?Complete at least one ESP review per quarter.


?Attend monthly safety meetings and CSC, PHA and PSSR meetings as required..


?Performs all duties in a safe and orderly manner, according to SOPs. Correctly uses all safety equipment when applicable. Adheres at all time to safety requirements according to the Sanford Plant Safety Standards.


?He/she will be aware of environmental concerns and operational hazards to prevent accidents to personnel and equipment and to protect the environment.


?He/she will be familiar with the safe operation of all plant equipment and works closely with operating personnel to ensure maximum safety at all times.


?Equipment product changes.


?Troubleshoot/repair of production and building equipment.


?Perform preventative maintenance on plant systems.


?Repair of electrical and electronic parts to the component level.


?Completes assigned work in a timely manner.


?Determine and locate materials required, determine the most efficient method of completing job assignments in compliance with standard times established.


?Complete all necessary paperwork, safe work permits, mechanical integrity documentation, CMMS system, log books, etc. in a timely manner.


?This position requires the equivalent of a high school education.


?Graduate two year technical degree in electrical, electronic, instrument related field or equivalent military training in related field.


?Minimum of one year experience in the discipline with above schooling or high school degree and minimum of 5 years experience in electrical/electronic and instrument work.


?Work from verbal and written instructions, including blue prints, schematic diagrams, sketches and bills of materials. Consult technical manuals or factory specifications as required.


?Be aware of proper operation of all equipment to include oscilloscope, volt and amp meters, digital and analog meters, lap top processors, pneumatic calibrating equipment and other diagnostics equipment.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
